10Minister of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan visits King Abdulaziz University to discuss Cooperation
On behalf of His Excellency, Professor Abdulrahman Al-Youbi, President of King Abdulaziz University, Professor Tawfiq Al-Khayal, Vice President for Business and Knowledge Creativity, received on Thursday 08/18/2022 AD, His Excellency, Professor Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, Minister of Innovative Development of Republic of Uzbekistan, and Mr. Otabek Fayazov, Director of the Department of International Cooperation in the Ministry of Innovation. The Uzbek delegation was accompanied by Dr. Munira Al-Aboudi, Director of the Education Sector at Saudi Ministry of Investment, and Ms. Anfal Al-Jibreen. The meeting and the schedule of the visit were attended by Professor Amin Noaman, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Abdulrahman Al-Wahhabi, General Supervisor of International Cooperation Agreements, and a number of university leaders.

11King Abdulaziz University signs an agreement with Politecnico di Milano for cooperation in the field of computing technologies
In the month of October 2021, the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, King Abdulaziz University (KAU) signed an agreement with the Politecnico di Milano Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering for cooperation in the field of computing technologies with reference to research proposals, graduate thesis and dissertation work, as well as the assessment of research workshops and the mobility of involved researchers. This is part of a broader Memorandum of Understanding for research and education cooperation between KAU and Politecnico di Milano – the leading technical university in Italy and among the world top universities in the fields of architecture, industrial design and engineering according to international rankings.

02Community Jameel Saudi joins hands with (KAU) to help combat Coronaviruses and related diseases
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, April 20, 2021: Community Jameel Saudi and King Abdulaziz University (KAU ) announced the launch of the Jameel Fund for Infectious Disease Research and Innovation (Jameel Fund) in Saudi Arabia to combat COVID-19 and related diseases, including the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). The collaboration aims to accelerate the development of clinical solutions to treat a range of infectious diseases in the Gulf region and worldwide.
