Conference Forums

The conference covers three main forums:

The first forum: Sessions of Panel Discussions wherein speakers present the summaries of pre-prepared papers on research in Islamic Economics to be commented on by a number of selected discussants.

The discussion will also be open to the audience for further comments and suggestions. This forum covers the following topics:

· Achievements of the previous International Conferences on Islamic Economics.

· Assessment of Islamic Economics research centers achievements.

· Methodology of research in Islamic Economics.

· Theory and practice in research in Islamic Economics.

· Obstacles facing research in Islamic Economics.

· Strategic vision for future research in Islamic Economics.

The second forum: Working papers covering various topics in the field of research in Islamic Economics summaries of which will be presented in the conference.

The Academic Committee of the conference hopes that the interested researchers would participate in this conference by preparing papers between 20 and 30 pages on one of the following suggested topics and presenting summaries of their papers in the conference.

The Third Forum: Solutions and applications in the field of Islamic Economics, namely:

1. Philanthropic (charity) role in Islamic Economics.

2. Islamic Finance and Investment.

3. Cooperative Insurance.
