Call for Participation 

        The JKAU invites researchers and university teachers to present their intellectual and scientific production for publication in its respective ten subtitles. The invitation covers researches highlighting researchers experiences in the different scientific scopes, to present their theoretical and applied studies that take up the different ways for securing the quality assurance for their institutions. The Journal also welcomes authors, researchers and academics who are concerned with the documentation of the Saudi Arabian National Occasions and its mighty history.

 Guidelines for Authors 

        The JKAU published in both Arabic and English Languages research articles, review articles, case reports, letters to the editor, book reviews, technical notes, professional reports, students graduation projects and abstracts of outstanding Masters Theses. The scope of materials presented for publication encompasses Arts, Economics, Humanities, Physical Sciences, and Medical and Engineering Sciences.

       The Journal publishes original and innovative works that follow correct methodology and scientific documentation together with flawless conception, language and style; and must not be abstracted from a book or thesis. It is not permissible for authors, whose manuscripts have been accepted for publication, to present them for publication in another medium with the same shape in any language without an editor-in-chief written permission. Manuscripts are subject to blind peer review. Reviewers are anonymously chosen by the Journal Editorial Board. It is for the journal to insist on performing the changes asked for by the reviewers before accepting the manuscript for publication.

1-Typescript(TS):

Typescripts should be submitted using Microsoft Word 2003 or later, either in Arabic(Simplified Arabic) or in English(Times New Roman), double spaced, on only one side of A4 size paper. The width of lines is 12.5cm and the depth of pages is 19cm. The TS are numbered consecutively including tables and figures. The abstracts, footnotes, tables, captions and references should be submitted in separate sheets.

2-Writing: The manuscript should be classified into:

  • Title: Concise and expressive.
  • Author(s) Name(s).
  • Affiliation of Author(s) as a mailing address. If there are more than one author, the affiliations should be presented according to their sequence.
  • Abstract: Not more than 200 words. Text should be divided into main sections, each with its own heading e.g. Introduction, Experimental, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References.

3-Tables:

Tables should be consecutively numbered, each with a self-explanatory title above.

4-Illustrations:

    Illustrations should follow the following Photoshop Specifications:
  • Resolution: 300 dpi
  • Mode:CMYK
  • Format:PSD(Recommended)  
  • All illustrations e.g. line drawings, photographs, figures ..etc should be consecutively numbered.

5-Proofs:

A copy of proof should be checked by the corresponding author, in a maximum of 72 hours and should be sent back to the editor-in-chief. No alteration is allowed specially on the page proof.

6-Reprints:

The author will be supplied with 20 free reprints per paper.

All materials are sent, according to specialization, to the corresponding JOURNAL SUBTITLE.
